With the completion of Five Boats the Inner Harbour in Duisburg gets a new landmark building on a prominent site. The basic concept of the boats was to create equal workplaces with a view to the water. The structure of the floorplans allow flexible office arrangements and is open for future developement. The first floor contains restaurants and retail space. The building is cladded in silver aluminium and glas. The LED lighting system is unique in its size and technology. The facade can be illuminated in all kinds of colours and patterns by night.
