Sachin has been practicing architecture since 2001. He completed a five year course at CEPT University, internship in Darjeeling, and a thesis that compared the structure of natural and manmade elements through the lenses of perception and formation. He began practice with four friends, and in 2005 started on his own. He has been developing projects throughout western India since.

Melissa Smith

Melissa has Masters in Architecture and City and Regional Planning from the University of California, Berkeley. She officially joined Sachin in June 2011, but has been participating laterally in projects since 2008. She has also taught as a visiting professor in the Faculty of Planning at CEPT University. Her research follows how inhabitants tend to restructure the built environment over time.
