Rajesh’s academic research on patterns in nature and their underlying presence in the man-made world, continues to inform his design thinking today. His practice lays particular emphasis on thermal comfort as a driving force that shapes architecture. At a broader level, Rajesh is also interested in dynamic shifting relations of nature-culture, mediated through design. Rajesh studied architecture at CEPT, Ahmedabad and U Penn, Philadelphia. He set up an independent architectural practice in 1994, based in Bangalore city.
Iype studied architecture at CEPT, Ahmedabad. He worked in Dubai with Brewer, Smith & Brewer and at dxb-LAB. His interests lie in appropriate methodology and details that permit a restrained use of materials to achieve more complete design solutions. He has been involved in lectures, reviews and workshops at USD Mysore, NIT Trichy, KRVIA Mumbai, RV College Bangalore and SAP Chennai.
